A Sip of Summer, Chivilla Bay Style
When the sun's out and the vibes are high, this Strawberry Shoreline Spritz hits like a mini vacation in a glass.
Made with Olivelle's Strawberry White Barrel Aged Balsamic, fresh lime, mint, and a little bubbly magic - it's the kind of drink that makes you want to kick back, throw on some flip-flops, and watch the waves roll (even if the waves are just your neighbor's sprinkler).
It's sweet, tangy, and oh-so-refreshing - perfect for beach days, backyard lounging, or when you just want to feel fancy without doing much of anything.
Ingredients:
- 5 mint leaves, plus more to garnish
- 1/2 medium lime, juiced, plus more to garnish
- 2 tbsp Strawberry White Barrel Aged Balsamic
- Ice
- 1 1/2 oz white rum (or vodka if that's your beach drink of choice)
- 4 oz club soda
- 4 oz sparkling wine or prosecco
- Fresh strawberry slice, for garnish
Directions:
-
In a tall glass, muddle mint leaves, lime juice, and Strawberry White Barrel Aged Balsamic until fragrant.
-
Fill the glass with ice, then pour in the rum and give it a quick stir - about 30 seconds to chill and combine.
-
Top it off with club soda and sparkling wine.
-
Give it one more gentle stir and garnish with a fresh strawberry slice and mint sprig.
-
Sip. Sigh, Repeat. (Preferably in an Adirondack chair.)
Chivilla Bay Tip: Make It Mocktail-Style!
Skip the rum and wine and use a mix of sparkling water + lemonade for a zero-proof version that's just as refreshing. Add extra mint and strawberries for bonus points.
