Ingredients:
- 1 large chicken breast
- 2 tsp Black Garlic Infused Sea Salt
- 1 lemon
- 1 Tbsp plus 1 tsp Sicilian Lemon Infused Olive Oil, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp Wild Garlic Dried Herb Blend
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 Tbsp Barrel Aged Dark Thick Sweet Balsamic
- 2 Tbsp parsley, chopped
Directions:
-
Butterfly chicken breast and season chicken generously with 2 tsp Black Garlic Infused Sea Salt. Let sit 15-30 minutes before cooking.
-
Prepare lemon by zesting the lemon and setting the zest aside for garnish. Then, slice the lemon into thin rounds and set aside.
-
Heat a skillet to medium heat. Add 1 Tbsp Sicilian Lemon Infused Olive Oil to the pan and once simmering, add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 4 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for another 4 minutes on the other side.
-
Remove the chicken to a plate and set aside. Wipe out the oil in the pan.
-
Heat remaining 1 tsp Sicilian Lemon Infused Olive Oil over medium heat in the same skillet. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
-
Add chicken broth, Wild Garlic Dried Herb Blend, half and half, Barrel Aged Dark Thick Sweet Balsamic, and 4 lemon rounds and stir to combine.
-
Return the chicken to the pan and let simmer, until the sauce thickens slightly and the chicken is done cooking, about 4-5 minutes.
-
Remove lemon rounds and plate chicken with sauce. Top with lemon zest and parsley. Enjoy!
